Installation Instructions​

  1. Delete any existing files inside C:\Windows\keys.
  2. Run houdini-22.0.368-win64-vc143.exe to install. Ensure License Server is checked during installation.
  3. Once installation completes, open License Administrator from the Start Menu.
  4. Under Services on the left menu, click the top-right dropdown and select Switch to on-premise license server (sesinetd). In the pop-up window, click + at the bottom right, move your server name to the top, click Update, and then click Stop in the Sesinetd row (do not close this window).
  5. Copy sesinetd.exe from the Crack/Replacement folder to:
    C:\Program Files\Side Effects Software\License Server
    and replace the existing file.
  6. Click Diagnostic in the bottom left of License Administrator to copy your Local host name (Server Name) and Local server code (Server Code).
  7. Run h22_keygen_with_karma.exe, enter your Server Name and Server Code, and click Generate Keys.
  8. Open the scripts folder, right-click EnterKeys.bat and select Run as Administrator, then follow the prompts to paste the generated license keys.
  9. Back in License Administrator under Services > Sesinetd, click Start. Close and reopen License Administrator to verify activation, then launch Houdini.
