Random Starship v2.1.0 - Blender Random Custom Spaceship Generator Plugin​

Random Starship is a random generator add-on that creates spaceships or starships. This is made as a utility add-on for Random Flow but you can use it as a standalone plugin. Its many controls allow you to make ships of all shapes and sizes. The plugin can randomly generate basic spaceship styles, then you can customize other shapes, sizes, and more on top of that.

Supported Blender Versions​

  • Blender 3.6 or higher

Installation Instructions​

Blender 4 or Lower​

  1. Go to the top menu Edit → Preferences → Add-ons → Install
  2. In the pop-up window, select the corresponding ZIP file to install

Blender 4.1 or Higher​

  1. Go to the top menu Edit → Preferences → Add-ons
  2. Click the dropdown in the upper right corner
  3. Select "Install from Disk"
  4. In the pop-up window, select the corresponding ZIP file to install

Additional Installation Steps​

After installing the plugin, copy the operator folder to the presets directory:

  • Linux: ~/.config/blender/<Blender version>/scripts/presets/
  • Mac: /Users/{user}/Library/Application/Support/Blender/<Blender version>/scripts/presets/
  • Windows: C:\Users\{username}\AppData\Roaming\Blender Foundation\Blender\<Blender version>\scripts\presets\
