Motion is the motion graphics and visual effects editor that works side-by-side with Compressor and Final Cut Pro. Its full arsenal of effects, filters and behaviors are available inside Final Cut Pro when it's time to finish a project. You can use the keyframe graph editor and audio editor to create motion graphics that add professional polish to your content. Versions 5.4+ add HEVC/HEIF support and Metal-accelerated optical flow; the 6.x line keeps updating for newer macOS releases.

Installation Instructions​

  1. If the app shows "damaged" or "unidentified developer" when opening, enable "Anywhere" in security settings
  2. Restart the computer, right-click the app and choose Open (do not double-click on first launch)
