Installation Instructions (Windows)​

  1. Install Nuke, but do not launch it.
  2. Install FLT7.1v1-win-x86-release-64.exe from the FLT7.1v1 folder.
  3. Stop the Foundry License Server service.
  4. Copy rlm.foundry.exe to C:\\Program Files\\The Foundry\\LicensingTools7.1\\bin\\RLM\\, replacing the existing file.
  5. Open xf_foundry.lic with a text editor and fill in your computer's information:
    • Example: [HOST PCname 946956C44A06]
    • Format: HOST HOST_NAME,MAC_ADDRESS,PORT
    • Notes:
      • Must begin with [HOST ] (including the space).
      • Use the physical address from the Ethernet adapter's local connection.
      • Get hostname and MAC address via CMD: ipconfig /all.
      • Save the file.
  6. Copy xf_foundry.lic to C:\\ProgramData\\The Foundry\\RLM.
  7. Restart the RLM Server (Foundry License Utility -> RLM services tab -> Start Server).
  8. Run Nuke.
  9. Select 1.Install License then 2.Use Server.
    • Enter the address: port@ip (default port is 5053, so 5053@127.0.0.1).
