Installation Guide

How to Install in Different Software

Final Cut Pro X

1. Open FCPX software, find the Effects panel - Color - Custom LUT and add to the video
2. In the LUT parameter item - Select Custom LUT... select the LUTS folder or .cube file
3. If you select the LUTS folder, you can load the entire folder and keep it in the LUT parameter item for easy classification management
4. Note: Try to avoid using Chinese characters and special characters

Premiere Pro

1. Open the following path:
   • Mac System: /Library/Application Support/Adobe/Common/LUTs
   • Windows System: C:\Program Files\Adobe\Common\LUTs
2. Copy your "Log to Rec709" LUTs to the above folder
3. For easy classification, you can create a new folder in the above path

DaVinci Resolve

1. Open the following path:
   • Mac System: Macintosh HD/Library/Application Support/Blackmagic Design/DaVinci Resolve/LUT
   • Windows System: C:\ProgramData\Blackmagic Design\DaVinci Resolve\Support\LUT
2. Copy your "Log to Rec709" LUTs to the above folder

📌 Usage Tips

Important Exposure Note

Adjust exposure before applying LUT if the clip is over/under exposed. The LUT is built on correct exposure principles from Sony's whitepaper. Matches camera view assist and exposure tools.

The LUTs work with any Sony camera shooting S-Log3, but each camera also has small deviations in color. The pack includes camera-specific adjustments for Sony a1 II, Sony a7 IV, and Sony FX2, with more cameras being added over time.

For other Sony cameras, use the general S-Log3 LUTs in the parent folder for very accurate, neutral color.
